• What is the process? |
How do I upload pictures? In order to upload your photo you will need a digital file. You can create this yourself if you have a scanner, or have it scanned at a local photo-copy center and put on a CD, so that you can load it onto your computer. Please use the printable scanning instructions on the, "What about scanning?" INFO page to accomplish this. Once you have a .jpg file you can go to the QUOTES page and upload your picture. You use the "browse" button to locate the file you want to upload and then enter detailed info about what changes you want. If you haven't done this before, it's easier than it sounds. If you have a digital file other than a .jpg file that's 5 MGS or less, please e-mail it as an attachment to; drew@pixlfixl.com and I will let you know how to proceed.
Photographs that are blurry because they're out of focus cannot be restored to be in focus. What kinds of prints do you make? We make archival photo-quality prints (up to 8.5" x 11") on 100% cotton acid-free paper that's produced in the USA. We use Epson UltraChrome inks. You can choose either semi-gloss or matte surface finishes. Can I have prints made from the CD? Yes. You can make prints on your own printer, or have them done at most photo stores.
